The maiden voyage will be at 7:00 pm from Terminal No. 2 on the south side of Port Canaveral. The ship, formerly known as Surfside Princess, was purchased in 2010 from SunCruz Casinos and initially announced a grand opening in November, 2010, before operators were forced to push back the date several times.
The ship went through a multimillion-dollar overhaul and now has 5,500 square feet of new carpeting, new fixtures, signs, seating, lighting and new gaming machines and tables. The casino located on the top levels offers 600 slot machines, 30 table games,a sports lounge and a nightclub.

The Victory 1 Casino will sail seven days a week, with two daily cruises from Saturday to Monday and one daily cruise on Sundays. Each five hour cruise excursion has a fixed price of $10 per person. The four level, 3,200 feet long ship has capacity for1,200 passengers. Victory 1 Casino Cruise, called “America’s largest casino cruise ship”, is tuning the final details for its first voyage scheduled this Friday, July 29th. According to Port Canaveral-based Victory Casino Cruises, the ship passed all inspections this Wednesday and gained the U.S. Coast Guard approval to set sail for the first time since December, 2009.
